COLOMBIA TO PANAMA

Sailing from Colombia to Panama has become one of the great backpacker journeys of the world. Where else can you spend 3 tranquil days sailing through the beautiful white sand islands of San Blas by yacht or catamaran, covered in palm trees and amazing beaches, after two days on a boat to Panama from the amazing colonial fortress city of Cartagena.

Wild Card

Wild Card is one of the largest boats at 60ft currently operating between Colombia, Panama and the San Blas Islands.

The boat has a fully enclosed wheel house, a mix of double and single berths for passengers and a large forward deck area to relax sunbathe and have fun.

Sovereign Grace

Sovereign Grace is one of the largest boats operating trips in San Blas. It measures a huge 74ft with a tough heavy steel hull. The boat can comfortably take 18 people in shared cabins with space for more in her large saloon area.

The fore-deck area is very large for socializing and partying. 3 bathrooms with electric heads (toilets) and an elegant wood finish interior. She also has extensive safety equipment aboard

Gitano del Mar

El Gitano del Mar San Blas sailing trips are one of the most popular available. Frenchman Jepi has been around doing these trips on and off for a long time.

He also has a lot of experience operating charters in the Caribbean for many years previously.

Santana

The Santana San Blas sailboat is a large 50 ft. catamaran capable of taking up to 17 people. It is very popular boat with passengers, receiving mostly excellent reviews commenting on the chilled out vibe and great food served up.

On board you have access to a sound system, snorkeling equipment, water toys, canoe and the boat is equipped with all the up to date safety equipment required.

Quest

Join Swedish captain Goeran aboard the SY Quest San Blas sailboat now sailing regularly between Panama, Colombia and the San Blas Islands.

He has 30 years of experience on different yachts and as commercial shipping crew. SY Quest is extremely spacious at 64 foot length over all and 8 ½ foot wide.

La Gitanita del Mar

The boat is a 51 Dufour mono-hull with space for 14 people in total in five double cabins which include bathrooms plus four ‘dorm’ beds.

This is one of the nicer boats currently available and like ‘Gitano del Mar’ is perfect for groups looking for a fun time.

Mintaka

The Mintaka San Blas sailboat is a beautiful custom-built 46ft aluminum sloop.

Captain Manfred and his wife Petra (a fantastic chef with 10 years of restaurant experience) have been sailing for over 35 years and have lived on and sailed the Mintaka around the world since 1991.

Easy going Colombian Captain Fabian is one of the original captains sailing this route and has been doing so for 17 years.

He gets great reviews and currently has lovely English Leanne on board as first mate, rumor says she cooks a great meal.
